Sparks should fly because UKIP's David Coburn is part of the debate. He tends to go for the jugular at every available opportunity. Unmissable TV!

My guess is Coburn will have riled up softly spoken Jim Murphy within minutes of the off and after that it is anyone's guess where it could all go. Farage is positively politically correct compared to Coburn! Unmissable!

"On the panel are Scottish Conservative Ruth Davidson, Patrick Harvie, from the Scottish Greens, Scottish Labour's Jim Murphy, Willie Rennie, from the Scottish Liberal Democrats, the SNP's Nicola Sturgeon and UKIP's David Coburn.

You can watch the programme live from 21:00 to 22:00 on BBC One Scotland or BBC News Channel or on the BBC Scotland news website."

am watching with interest

James Cook was too weak to host this. Shouting match - just pointless. Thought the same of him during the independence debate.

Jim Murphy seriously gives me the boak! When he looked directly at the camera - gave me the creeps. Cannot warm to him at all.

I thought Cook was quite good

Last nights STV debate was better organised and managed, not so much talking and shouting over each other as tonight.

claig · 08/04/2015 22:30

Mummatron3000, I agree with everything you said. The host was too weak to control it and should also have cut off the pre-prepared Jim Murphy spiel.

Also agree about Jim Murphy giving the creeps.
