government change in rules on baby premium?

over the last week or so i have had a number of letters from the housing and c.tax benefit office

the 1st said i'd been underpaid £99 c.tax ben and they would take it off next bill (nice but it hasnt come off bill yet!)

then a day or 2 later i had one saying i'd been over paid £1.75 h.ben - they'd take it off next payment- again, fine...

then i get 2, 2 days in a row saying each benefit owed me a couple£

so now i'm really confused and they are saying it is; "due to a change in baby premium from CTax credit and council tax benefit"

i guess my baby stops bei ng a baby end of june when shes ! but i can't find details of any changes? anyone able to point me in the right direction? Confused

The best thing to do, if you're prepared to be patient, is to call the various helplines. As we're coming up to year-end and many of the rules are changing I think there are some internal problems a) to finalise the 10/11 awards and b) working out what the new rules mean for the 11/12 awards.

Ignore Gabby... The good news is that the Turn2Us website has now updated its tax credits and benefits calculator for 2011/2012 tax year. Benefits Checker If you enter your details including income, age of child etc. you should be able to see your likely award for the 2011/2012 period. Good luck
