2011 will be the most difficult year of all for the coalition. Here's hoping they have the steel to act in the national interest.

Let's hope the next year is better than the last. DH returned two days ago from working in the winter shelter in the church, with tales of woe.

Two years ago only seven young men sleeping rough, this year the number was 20, mostly middle aged men, and three middle aged women.
Tales of repossession, depression and homelessness.

I was saddened, particularly for the women, as they can only sleep for one night at the shelter and then must move on, as do the rest, to other shelters.

Next year no adults are getting presents! I will donate to the homeless at Christmas charities.

Anyway have a nice Christmas day! not too much booze as the posts will become more slurred than usual zzzzzzzz..........
