Yes yes yes yes yes.

There are almost no non-Church primary schools in my area. I'm agnostic and honestly not too bothered, but DH is a Dawkins-worshipping atheist and really unhappy about the idea of DS having to go to one in a couple of years (he's only one year old now). So I'm also annoyed on his behalf - as an atheist he shouldn't be forced to send his child to a church school.
