11:11, 22:22 333 etc etc the numbers - you know what I mean if you get them too

I was about to post up here the other day to find others like me and I came across the mention of numbers on another thread.

My numbers occur whenever I check the time, when I pause the tv, when I just happen to glance at another car (reg plates). You know what I mean if it happens to you.

I know what I believe it to be, I wondered if others might share their experiences and thoughts.

I am sure people to to rationalise this as an obsession to check the time etc, but I can guarantee I stopped checking what time it was many many years ago.

I thought this was a really odd thread but as soon as I saw 22:22, I thought it must be about what happens to me all the time.
I certainly don't check the time too often however, even DH admits it's freaky how it always seems to be 22:22 when I look at the clock (laptop or video, although now our video clock doesn't work anymore, it hasn't happened as recently).
So is this common then? That the same numbers occur to some people all the time? I just thought I was strange in thinking anything of it?

hmm have you ever tried actually noting down whether it is that time every single time you check the time etc etc?

Because I think it's far more likely that it seems to happen a lot because you notice it, not because it actually occurs more frequently.

Yes I can see the logic in noting the time when you check the time. I see the numbers when I am driving or the sizes of my saved files are 444kbs, or 555 etc. Also I look at my milometer in the car just at the moment the miles change to 333. I wake in the morning and check my moby to see what time it is and it's 3:33, or 4:44, 2:22. This is what I mean

could be that you download lots of files for example, and you only pay attention to the numbers when it's a series of similar ones (our brains are designed to do that)

Yes, it means that the angels or the spirits are around you - it can mean they have a message for you, or it can just mean that they are there. My mum does reiki healing and is really into angels etc - I know this is a bit "woo" on here hence why I don't mention it often.

There probably is an element of once you've heard about it/noticed it once, you are more likely to notice it, but I always seem to notice it more when I am having a stressful time about something. If I am looking for it I don't see it, it's when I haven't thought about it for a long time and suddenly I start to see it everywhere that it catches me by surprise and makes me smile.

If you google "11:11" there are a few websites which talk about it. Some of them come across as more sane than others, to be fair!

thisisyesterday I know exactly what you are saying as I have been trying to rationalise it to my brain being attuned, or that it now recognises the patterns to look for and therefore they 'jump' out at me. Yes I always get the same numbers.

Hello BertieBotts I was reading the other thread you were on and I thought I'd start this one. I too am a reiki bod and it's ever since I started doing reconnective healing that I began to notice the number patterns, hence getting Doreen's book to find out what was really going on. Angels, not too woo at all in my book I spend a lot of time with them

And yes, I too agree, if I'm looking for it I don't see it. Just realised that.

Hello indigo - I find all this stuff interesting. I am quite sceptical in some ways, but I do think that reiki etc works as I have experienced the effects of it. My mum has done it for DS on occasion too and it usually calms him down, but he's quite clear if he doesn't want it too!

I believe in angels and the number thing makes sense to me. Just because something is perceived as being fantasy and embellished in books, stories, etc, it doesn't mean it can't be mundane or everyday or fit in with modern life.

It's like that joke - a man stands on his roof in a flood. Someone comes past in a boat and says "Hey, get in, we can take you to safety!" but the man says "No thank you, God will save me, I know it." He waits a bit longer and someone comes past on a raft, offering him a space to float to safety. He turns it down again, assuring the person that God will save him. A bit later, a helicopter comes along and throws him a rope. He refuses it again on the basis that God will surely save him, he only has to wait.

Some time goes past with no more rescuers, and the man eventually drowns. He arrives in Heaven and says "Hey God, you said you would save me, what happened?" God replies "I sent you a boat, a raft and a helicopter, what more do you want?"

wow, weird. when i was little i used to "collect" them, but can't say i've noticed it at all as I got older, so presumed it was just my mind playin tricks

so what does 11:11 mean then because this is the one i get the most.
i also used to wake up around 3am very often for no apparent reason. bit scary.

but, this is how mine started it was always 11:11.

Indigo - I've been wondering why I always see 9:11 (there can't possibly be that many in one day) and I looked on your link, and I'm now in tears, as it describes exactly the point I have reached in my life - uncannily accurate

I always see 12.08, it's the time of birth of my first son, but every day I always notice this time. I wonder why.

I always see 11.11 and 22.22, all the time.

I've often noticed (although not for a while) that whenever I wake up and check the time it seems to be 12:34, 03:33 04:56 etc. It's never the real time though because I have my clock a few minutes fast. It is weird when it happens consistently.

surely it's just that you remember when the numbers on the clock are the same, or go up sequentially, but obviously don't remember all the times they don't? So it seems like it happens a lot, but really it doesn't happen any more than any other number combination.

11:11 means angels look after you

It's funny. I get the opposite: it always seems to be 10.47 or some other random number. Does this mean the angels have abandoned me?

Zepehrine no way, angels never abandon anyone Maybe you are getting messages another way, it's just they had to give me a kick up the bum to get moving and that's whay they thought - right if we repeat the same numbers to her everyday, surely she will get the message......
