Do I have a ghost/ poltergeist?

I really didn't know where to post, but hoping you guys can give me some guidance.

I'm 16 weeks pregnant and there have been some very odd poltergeist/ ghostly things happening in my bathroom.

Three things have occured:

  1. a small bottle of eye gel flew across the room
  2. My hand cream violently swayed side to side
  3. the loo roll flew across the room and hit the bathroom door.

All separate over the course of a month. It's only happened to me (not my husband), but I'm scared for my two year old in case anything should happen and she gets hurt.

I don't 'feel' any bad vibes and I'm not going mad.

Should I try and talk to it, or ignore it?

I'm confused and really don't know what to do.

Please help, x

sorry i dont have any advice for you but you must be terrified , expat is brilliant at this type of thing , bumping so hopefully she might see this & have some advice .

My mum knows all about these things. As does my sister. Sis is away but I'll ask my mum later, when she calls in what her advice is.

In the meantime I have learnt from my upbringing, that spirits cannot hurt you and rarely do they want to. Although occasionally they can get a bit excited/annoyed.

My sister shouts at spirits she does not want near her and asks them to leave. She also regularly does something called 'pyscic protection' which is where she closes her eyes and imagines protective animals like Lions and Dragons around her protecting her from any spirits who would wish her harm. I am sure there is more to it than that, but if google phsycic protection rituals something might come up.

My mum has a an old fashioned wooden broom which uses to 'sweep' evil spirits out. But I am sure there is some sort of spell/rhyme you are meant to say. It is a Romany spell/tradition so again it's probably very Google-able.

I would pray and command the ghost/spirit to leave "In the name of Jesus" (actually say those words out loud). If you feel uncomfortable doing that I would ask the local vicar/minister to come and do it - I'm sure he/she would be v. happy to oblige.

I believe that ghosts/spirits are never benign.

BTW - Just saw your post about doing a tarot reading to contact the spirit on the other thread - don't do it - you don't know what you are getting yourself into. DO IT AT YOUR PERIL - Tarot is evil, dangerous stuff that wrecks lives (am speaking from experience)...

Thank you everyone. Really many thanks for taking the time to post.

I'm not scared, nor do I think the 'spirit' means me any harm.

I believe in destiny and feel that I have a purpose in life (yet to be discovered). I just wondered if there was a message for me, hence the tarot request on the other thread.

Interesting idea about protecting myself by thinking of animals.

hugebelly You can ask Archangel Michael to clear your home of energies, all you have to do is ask in your head even if you don't believe. You can also imagine beautiful bright white light entering your home and surrounding you too.

Tarot? wrecks lives? ok. I thought tarot was basically a psychological tool to look at your life. How exactly do a few flimsy cards wreck lives?

CoinOperatedGirl · 23/04/2010 21:37

Also, PERIL, really?

Nemofish · 25/04/2010 22:54

What? Did someone say PERIL?

Never known tarot do anything but good, reassurance and sensible advice / guidance.

Unfortunatley the tarot = evil idea still lingers, which is why my great grandmother had to use playing cards and only do readings firmly behind closed doors.

Sorry hugebelly have gone off topic, have replied to you on another thread though.

It wouldn't surprise me if your poltergeist was a relative wishing to make themselves known and excited at the upcoming birth? Some would even say that it is the spirit of your newborn waiting around for it's time to be born, and getting excited and impatient. FWIW, that is what I'd place my bets on, I have a feeling in me waters
