can anyone recommend a medium in the north west?

has anyone been to a medium in the north west/manchester/wigan/bolton area?

I went to one a couple of years ago but she told me loads of horrible things which freaked me out and then eventually turned out not to be true. I'm not going to a medium again but my bereved friend is desperate to go to one so I said I would try and find a recommended one.
