Christmas Blessing...

Trying to be positive and share good things...

Christmas morning I discovered my DD had left the rabbit out overnight in the garden, to have a run around (she forgot to tell us she'd let it out, not just fed it)

So there I was in jimjams, searching high and low and coming to the inenviable conclusion that the rabbit was a good snack for a marauding fox...as thought the garden was VERY rabbit proof (he's often let out during the day and LOVES snow)

Sent DD out to search for said rabbit but she had the same luck as me, no flopsy at all...

So thought that was that and tried very hard not to be cross with dd and spoil Christmas.

BUT, 5 mins later, there was a knock at the door and our neighbour was there clutching buns to his chest! Unbelievable considering their garden is very definitely not rabbit proof so buns could have escaped and gone almost anywhere...

What a blessing and a wonderful gift on Christmas Day!

On Christmas day at the "present blessing" part of the service, daughter (10) was asked if she could have any present in the world, what would she have? She said "my mummy and daddy"!

Vicar asked how much I paid her
