My family and I have been invited to a Hindu naming ceremony. Can anyone give me any idea of what to expect? Also are there are things I need to be aware of before I get there - e.g what is inappropriate to wear, do I need to cover my head in the temple etc. I'm a bit concerned because I was planning to wear a black dress and am worried that this would cause offence as a friend mentioned that I shouldn't wear all black or white.
