Does anyone know of an on-line bible?

My son has to read in church from the Good News Bible on Sunday. I thought it would be easier for him if we printed it out in large font. Does anyone know where I can find this on-line? Have googled to no avail. Thanks

I can't find GNB online either. Is there a lectern bible at the front of the church? that has the text in a much larger typeface, and if it is a GNB will save you typing it out.

When I read in church, I always download the passage (font 14), in NIV-UK. Apart from not needing reading glasses, I do worry about reading on, oblivious to the actual end of the reading.

Are there any on-line bible studies that are not geared to reading the bible in a year. Was hoping to find something that explained the history and meaning. Stuggle to understand or be interested in the bible and feel I need help to break it down and put it into context but also know I am very lazy at thinking about what it all means so maybe something that encourages me to do that would be good too. Kind of an adult version of kids sunday school I think. I am very slow to read and digest so having a time limit is very impracticle and off-putting for me not to mention 2 young kids.

Not an online thing, but if you want something which puts the Bible in context and helps you to understand what it's about, then the two books by Etienne Charpentier on the Old Testament and New Testament are very good.

The online things about bible study which I've seen have tended to be very much from one point of view, ie trying to prove their point, rather than giving you an overview and the skills to make your own decisions. But those books are much more general about the background to the Bible, which I think is a better place to start from.
