here

Though #1: Dawkins is a loon.

Thought #2 (following very closely on the heels of Thought #1): DS1 (6) - who is alone (in his class of 30) in having been taught about the Big Bang rather than the creation story - might well get a lot out of something like this. At the moment, he's beginning to suspect that his father and I are cult leaders.

Sure! Well according to Douglas Adams, the meaning of life is 42, so if we take that number plus that weird number that people have a phobia about, 23 and then the number of the beast, 666 and kinda jumble them about a bit, we get this 6342662, which put in alphabetical form says 'Rhubarb'.

Wow!

i'm with onagar....far too hot to talk religion...we should have an impromptu michael jackson tribute party and get the beers out..

It's possible I might view Pascal's Wager differently from the horizontal perspective of a death bed.

GrimmaTheNome · 30/06/2009 16:59

42 is from an undisputed recent source, but the validity of 666 is questionable.

Rhubarb · 30/06/2009 17:01

Hmm, still comes to 'Rhubarb'.

Funny that.

GrimmaTheNome · 30/06/2009 17:04

To a true believer, it would!

onebatmother · 30/06/2009 21:33

EN ARCHÊ ÊN hO LOGOS,... KAI RHUBARB ÊN hO LOGOS.

onebatmother · 01/07/2009 12:44

guvk · 01/07/2009 12:47

Ack but now you have rolled the rock away from the tomb, and I will waste loads of time posting again.

onebatmother · 01/07/2009 12:58

Oh shag, sorry. Your facility with metaphor is second to none, btw..

morningpaper · 01/07/2009 13:03

I was impressed onebat!

guvk · 01/07/2009 13:09
