I need your help.

Despite being very new at this, well three years or so and only ever having participated in ritual with DP, I have volunteered to be part of the Faith Tent at our local Mardi Gras!!

My SIL and her friend, both pagans, will also be there but they too are solo usually.

We are going to try to get to some rituals and events before as we plan what to do but are are a bit dazed by having agreed, nay, suggested we should do this!!

Anyone got any experience of events like this? (Spiritual not Mardi Gras ) and any suggestions? We aren't plannig a ritual just something visual I think.

I'm sure most people will just be expecting to see the equipment, breathe the insense, and hear some chanting.

I went to a thing where they had laid out different altars to show the wheel of the year and had boards up explaining everything.

Thank you for that idea, we'll certainly incorporate the Wheel of the Year, maybe a circle with a symbol made of herbs and seeds in the centre. I think we need a session with a few drinks and some books to hand and also an idea of how the space will be set out.

We'll have to have some campy kitsch too, the Goddess is in everything!!
