Jewish passover meal/ Jesus' Last supper

My son wants to know what Jesus would have eaten at the last supper, other than bread and wine.

He would like to eat the same on Maundy Thursday. So what do I need to cook?

the traditional Jewish seder/ passover meal is not the same as the last supper. the bread eaten at the passover time is unleavened. you can buy the matzoh crackers quite easily at tesco & waitrose etc

i would have thought jesus would have had fish of some sort?

fish, olives, wine,bread

The Passover would surely have involved lamb?

This may help

I am not sure the last supper was acutally the seder. I think Jesus was crufied on the day the seder meal would have been eatern. As Babrabus was released by Pontious Piliote.

There was a full moon on Good Friday according to the bible, (I think there was because the expression "The moon turned to blood" suggests a luna elipse).

this explains the seder too

this looks at the evidence for whether the last supper was a seder meal or not

Sorry I can't help. It;s a shame you don't live near us as the whole church is having a "pass over" meal together with all the tradiations explained - but it will be too late for me to tell you what we ate once I;ve been
