this worries me. and i'd like to hear other peoples thoughts on this. compensation has something that has never sat right with me, as i feel the possibility of abusing it is very high. but my concerns now are, where does this end? banning shift work? stoppin g people from working at night? so, no doctors?no midvwives?
obviously i am in no way trying to belittle the suffering of the people quoted. i am just worried about how and where this will lead. when people started demanding, and getting a living wage for their work in this country, a lot of manufacturing was offloaded to places where the big companies could pay less..... is this sort of thing going to happen now? should compensation continue?
any thoughts would be interesting.
