Pagans - what do you do for Ostara/ Equinox?

Next weekend is the Spring Equinox (as well as Mothering Sunday).

On Sunday we have organised an Egg Hunt at a Nature Centre for a group of local children - this is our first public event so it will be interesting to see how it goes.

We have also been working in the garden and will sow some seeds during the week when things are quiet.

What do other people do?

Doesn't anyone do anything?

Hi Superbunny, You are not alone out there, we are trying to incorporate some Ostara magic into Mothering Sunday! DD is only 18 months so is too young to understand what's going on to be honest, but we are going to make a twig 'tree/altar decoration' decorated with ribbons and blown eggs. We are then going to a local pet farm to see the baby animals. we are going to be moving house in a couple of weeks, so on Sunday I plan to plant some flower seeds in pots ready to take to the new house. This will be quite a significant Ostara for us, starting afresh in a new home. (sniffs sentimentally!)

Sounds lovely, norfolkbumpkin

DS is desperate to plant sunflowers but I think it is too early.

I'm using this time to do lots of paperwork and sow metaphorical seeds for a new start/ new life. Fingers crossed.

Good luck with your move.

We go to the Standing stones on Bodmin Moor if the weather allows as babies not really old enough for wet. We do our own spontanious thing whatever it may be.
