question about bar mitzvah card

Can anyone tell me what message to put on a bar mitzvah card for the son of a friend. We were invited to the bar mitzvah party but cannot go and are intending to send a card and a gift voucher. The bar mitzvah boy goes to Jewish school and the mother is from Israel but they are quite a secular family. We are friends but not really close friends.

Anyone have any tips on where to find a card online? - the bar mitzvah is next Saturday and we have to post the card and we've left it a bit late (as usual).
