Just the type of quote I am looking for.

'I have called you by name, you are mine' Isaiah 43.9 (I think - particularly good if your ds has been baptised.)

"AS for me and my household, we shall serve the Lord" ?

These are great. Keep em coming.

Ds has not been baptised as I am Catholic, and DH is Jewish. We are trying to give DS a well rounded religous education.

The quote from Isaiah is equally appropriate from both a Jewish and Catholic point of view.

"Sons are a heritage from the Lord, children a reward from Him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are sons born in one's youth."

Psalm 127:3-4

Jeremiah 3V33 ( I think)

Call to me and I will answer, I will tell you great and marvellous things, of which you know nothing about.

It's a long time since bible class but I always liked that one, left you quite inquisitive.
