Precognitive dreams - do you think they are real?

Just wondering what you people think about these, especially those who believe strongly in religion.

I'm talking about dreams where people dream of an event that actually happens.

This is slightly different perhaps but I often get to situations which I know I've seen before in a dream. Most people would just call this deja vu but I think this is different because I know what is going to happen, even exactly what people are going to say.
Normally it only happens for about 5-10 seconds but I've had occasions where it's been over a minute.

This has happened to me a few times in my life - dreamt things which have happened the next day. Have also had LOTS of out of body experiences as a child and several as an adult. No idea why it happensthough.

Te dreams have always been about people I am very close to (but not physically close a the time i happens) and the OoB experiences have always been at a time of high anxiety or stress.

Am glad I am not the only one

I do. I've lost count of the number times I've dreamt about someone I haven't seen in ages, and then bump into or hear from them in the next couple of days. I've also had that experience many times where you pick up the phone to ring someone only to find that they are already on the line and you don't need to ring.

I often have dreams, very detailed in terms of place, people, what is said / what happens.

I will remember them when I wake up and they will happen months later.

If only I could dream of useful things!
