A time for thistle in your Bong, a Yurt and a song, so goes the clock in the merry meadows

The grass heads hang before my eyes,
as the dirt rises up and facepacks the sky
The thistledown fallen lays light upon my back
nestling through my lashes all stacked

The dastard are now a faint murmur
for I exist now much firmer
in a place
where time
is a thistle in your Bong, a Yurt and a song

so goes the clock in the merry meadows

Paps the bass were excellent and I added some samphire.

Today I lounge inside in the library. Gothicmama is nowhere to be seen but has left me some muffins and crumpets and a huge coffee and walnut layer cake. I have also ordered some cupcakes and a wonderful plate of brownies from the kitchen.

The fire is stoked up and I have a pile of books and magazines to read. Outside it is snowing and drifting around the windows of the yurt but here on my purple velvet squishy sofa I am warm and full up. I read, doze, eat and look at the fire composing songs and stories.

Papillon · 03/02/2009 05:16

Glad to hear you are rugged up and warm in the library, after hearing about the quantities of sun in your part of Bong Land! Brrrrrr!!

Here at the moment its hot and the firefighters are busy around the lands keeping fires under control. The temperatures are very hot.

I enjoy rolling in the snow here in the land, it feels good to come out of the sauna and roll about naked, cooling myself down

Yes paps and vice versa any chance to get into the sun for me at the moment so I sneak off to the sunny part every now and then.

I have got my snow boots on and am trudging out today to admire the icicles and snow in the forest and mountains.

Tomorrow I am coming over to spend the day in the sun and sauna enjoying a blast of heat!

Papillon · 04/02/2009 18:15

My breathing is slow, deep and sensual. I feel my body breathing, the sensation of reactions that rise and fall with each inhalation and exhalation. My reality draws around me like a lovers embrace. The colours of my essence beckon to me gently to know what dwells within us all.

Today I will paint scenes of BongLand, the array of vistas the paint for us that dare to dwell in such hidden places. Challenging, soothing and assaulting, as the grass heads now rise up to germinate in my mind, body and soul.

Hello Glitter I half expectd to find you in the library, thank you for leaving some coffe and brownies, tis cold inthe lands today and eagle feels the need to stay close and not soar today. Paps I am glad you are painting this wonderful place perhaps we choose one to go above teh fire place in the library

gothicmama · 05/02/2009 20:53

I have enjoyed my visit to the lands today although I missed soaring with the eagle. i spent time in the fountains which eldrich made run warm. The icicles were beautiful and I feel refreshed and revived take care my sweet soul sisters coffee and crumpets await you in the library

glitterfairy · 06/02/2009 15:11

Oh Gm how good to see you!

Thank you for the food and drink in the library and toasty log fire. I am gazing at the patterns of frost on the yurt windows and feeling mellow as I watch the flames. I have put wine to warm near the fire and there is a tray of delicious canapes ready for us alongside a thick rich soup for later and a plate of heavenly cheese.

I have a warm fur rug over me and am getting warm after walking miles in the snowy landscape and looking at the patterns made by animals as they chased over the white crystalline surface. the children have built a giant snowlady and snowman holding hands in a glade in the forest and had a wonderful snowball fight.

We were watched by the eagle who seemed amused at our silliness as we giggled and rolled in the snow. the children are all tired and are also lolling in front the fire quiet as gm's baby sleeps.

gothicmama · 06/02/2009 21:00

oh how lovley it is i have brought some freshly baked bread for our feast, th echildren have had a lovely time.

glitterfairy · 09/02/2009 10:01

We have done some baking today with the children and inspired by Gms wonderful bread have baked some rolls which the children made into weird and wonderful shapes.
We have also made our own granola bars, muffins and little cupcakes and a huge tray of various brownies. Last but not least I have made a coffee and walnut layer cake for more grownup consumption and we are now lolling in front of the fire after cleaning up whilst toasting marshmallows as the children drink mugs of hot chocolate.

Outside the snowman and snowlady stand proud and tall and the lands are frozen solid but beautiful under a sunlit sky.

Papillon · 12/02/2009 19:12

The painting is finished and now hangs in the Library. If you focus on the painting you will begin to see the Libraries inside. Forgotten libraries, libraries that were thought destroyed have stored their history, books and manuals with the painting. Step inside, in safety, to explore with the sages and wisdom that are held in shelves upon shelves of writings.

I have gazed upon the painting while creating it, for now I leave it to the folk who come to the library for inspiration and learning. Today I lie will walk along a small trail to a hammock that lies between the two trees of Kanano.

I love the painting Paps. I can see ancient manuscripts thought lost gilded in gold leaf and books of learning from medieval monks. there are also ancient Arabic texts and it is magic in the yurt as I can read it all regardless of language or age.

I am reading Persian poetry now.

I have ordered a sherbet specially to go with it made from some of the snow outside.

Later I am going on a midnight sledge ride with twinkling lights along the crisp snow Packed behind the horses with frosty breath are the children covered in warm fur and with bright red cheeks. The sleigh bells ring out as we visit the frozen lake for skating under a full moon.

Tomorrow I am coming to the sunlight lands to visit you paps for a day of heat where the children can swim in the sea and visit the grottos along the cliff walls collecting shells. I will catch crabs and we will have huge shrimps and lobster for tea on a BBQ on the beach with driftwood which the kids can collect.

gothicmama · 13/02/2009 19:43

I love i, it so sums up the magic and mystery of the library. I am in the mountains with the eagle after eldrich will make the fountains run warm for us to enjoy and I have some mead and drink to keep us warm. Tomorrow I shall visit the desert lands and contemplate the mysteries of the universe

glitterfairy · 13/02/2009 20:29

Save some mead for me gm.

I have feasted on shellfish and spent the day in the sea listening to its unending song.

I am full and happy and tired so tonight I am sleeping in a dry cave on a bed made from driftwood with a thistledown mattress and a quilt of cotton from the prairies.

In the morning I will journey to the mountains to see eldrich and drink some mead.

gothicmama · 13/02/2009 21:04

I will eldrich with some mead fro you to enjoy tomorrow, tonight I am in the mountain cave dreaming of the knowledge of the lands tp inspire me for tomorrow

Papillon · 16/02/2009 18:13

I fancy a day round the deck, with friend galore. Feasting to keep away the winter cold, me bringing big juicy tomatoes, sweetcorn from the summer heat. The apples are ripe and delicious, every child eats one. There are swings off the deck and everyone loves to play, enjoy and laugh.

OP posts:
glitterfairy · 21/02/2009 08:47

I have enjoyed my mead and had to sleep for many days afterwards!

Last night I lay under the stars on the deck having made a bowl of fresh tomato soup from Paps supply and some sourdough bread.

Today I am going to transfer snowdrops in the green to the forest glade so we have plenty growing for the years to come and I am digging over the veggie patch.

Later I will snuggle up on a purple velvet sofa in the library and look into the fire and at Paps picture and do some meditation.

Justabout feel free to join in! we will welcome you with some hot chocolate in the library later.

Papillon · 22/02/2009 20:33

The sourdough comes from a 80 year old germ, a friend gave me. It came from Canada and has travelled through many a flour doughed hand

After beginnning with Yoga stretches, I walk today through the Nikau Forests, hearing the kereru, wood pigeon enjoy the fruit of the Nikau. After leaving the forest I swim in the ocean and enjoy sandwiches behind a large rock. The wind has picked up and the sand stings. Although the sensation feels like acupunture and I find release as it grains pelt my body.

Tempted by hot chocolate I will join you in the library Glitter with my own golden lounge sofa and twirl my eyes inwards into the picture.

glitterfairy · 23/02/2009 18:18

Today I have enjoyed your company in the library paps and the quiet thoughts radiating form you as you twirled the picture.

I am in need of a rest for my head which is so busy and therefore am going for a retreat to my mountain cave for three days.

I have packed cheese and bread and my special down sleeping bag. At the cave there is enough basic provisions for my stay and a sleeping deck in a corner, alongside fire wood, matches and candles but I intend to sleep when it is dark and awake at the light. The eagle will keep watch with me whilst I meditate and rest my mind watching the clouds from the high peak.

I melt snow for cups of herb tea and mentally refresh my soul.

Papillon · 24/02/2009 20:52

Glitter I have a busy head too, so will journey to a waterfall that cleanses my mind of daily chatter.

I take with me fruit and vegetables to cleanse my body.

Enjoy your time in the mountain cave, Namaste

Namaste Paps.

I am refreshed and invigorated so I am bathing in the hot springs and walking through the forests. I look at the bulbs pushing through and wonder at the lengthening days and wait in anticipation for the blossom and froth of spring.

gothicmama · 28/02/2009 21:07

My head had been busy but the fountains have soothed the thoughts and the gentle flow of the water has shown me the way. ELdrich has been close and this has been nice. I am travelling to the mountains to soar with the eagles and feel free, I will return to the library refreshed an dready to spring clean teh shelves and look at forgotten tomes.

glitterfairy · 01/03/2009 18:05

I am feeling the buds pushing through and spring not far away and know that this is sending my own spirit soaring.

I want to be outside again and gardening, planting and walking in the forest and hills. the mountains are still too cold and I want to watch the full rivers from nearby and admire the waterfalls in the valleys.

When I come in my cheeks are warm and pink and I can curl up and crash in front of the library fire smelling of the apple logs from an old tree and beeswax since GM cleaned.

Papillon · 04/03/2009 00:19

Today I rest in a place of steam and purification. Flu that sits in my body will be cleansed and I emerge rejuvenated and well.

The steam takes on shapes of prophesies of 21/12/2012 giving insight of how to be ready in mind, body and spirit, if Earth changes do occur.

The land of Bong will be a safe haven for all who know how to unlock and travel within it realm.
