Anyone with knowledge about Mormons here tonight?

I have an LDS funeral to go to next week and would like to know what to expect. I have looked on-line but all of the info comes from the US and I thought it may be a bit different here. Thank you.

Speaking from limited knowledge (good friend is a mormon) I would think that the info from the US will be quite accurate as the church is quite uniform across the world by my understanding. My experience of LDS church was that everyone was very welcoming and will make you feel very comfortable so don't worry.

Thank you, do you know if it's ok to wear trousers? I seem to recall at the LDS wedding I went to years back that most of the women were in long dresses or skirts. I have a very smart trouser outfit but don't wear skirts or dresses at all.

I think you would probably blend in better in a long skirt if you have one. I did a little internet search and saw somewhere that it was "Sunday Clothes" for funerals. My friend always wears a smart dress or long skirt and blouse on a Sunday for church. No idea whether it should all be dark colours or not though
