What it's all about?

I don't get it and I find it more frightening than horror films. If I understand it it might not freak me out so much... I'm a grown up and yet it's given me nightmares . Embarressing but true.

They were massively scary. Louis Theroux did a great documentary where he spent a couple of weeks with them.

I'm a great believer in chacun a son gout etc., but they were absolute freaks imho. The picketing of funerals of soldiers who died in Iraq/Afghanistan was especially harrowing

I think I might check the Louis T thing out then. I don't know why it's frightened me so much!! I don't usually scare easily but it's just stuck in my head.

I don't think you mean the gods children cult, Tilly. Theroux did spend some time with Westboro baptist 'church' which pickets soldiers funerals, but I don't think it's the same cult. I can't imagine why they would come all the way to the UK for Jezza. I don't know why anyone in the UK does, but anyway...

It was the same cult - the same hideous woman and one of her dd's - they were on video link up in Jezza's studio. I think they also call themselves The Children of God.

Raging - think Louis' doc was called "The Most Hated Family in America" and can be viewed on line. Its harrowing stuff. Even more sinister than the Jeremy Kyle show because it hadn't got the same sensationalism iyswim

I'm off to watch it. Can't believe they said to that woman that he son will be in hell for fighting for his country- it was awful, and his mum was so lovely.
