Yellow ball in my car

Yesterday when I got into my car (driving seat as usual) I saw a sort of transclucent yellow ball (like one of those little bouncy balls) dart from the centre console across the passenger footwell and then into the front right side of the passenger footwell. It lasted literally for a split second and im sure I even heard a thud as it hit the interior trim before disappearing - any ideas? The kids were already in the car and didnt see/hear anything and i hadn't been drinking!

This is sooooo bizarre!!

ScummyMummy · 07/02/2005 22:27

Suzy.

Sorry jampots.

Could it have been a radioactive mouse?
Or an atmospheric phenomena?

HunkerMunker · 07/02/2005 22:32

SW!

10-month-old DS's favourite toy is a yellow ball as you describe. But he's unlikely to have been in your car.

SleepyJess · 09/02/2005 23:13

Hi Hunkermunker

Was it anything like this

SleepyJess · 09/02/2005 23:15

D'oh! Sorry I meant Jampots!!!

SleepyJess · 11/02/2005 23:15

Jampots??

givenupforlent · 12/02/2005 13:10

jampots has given up MN for lent so has sent me instead

It sounds similar but was literally the size of one of those small rubber bouncy balls - also no thunder/lightning around.

I know - it sounds very batty

SleepyJess · 12/02/2005 18:13

ROFL! "Given up MN for lent" Great idea Jampots.. me too, me too!!

Well it does sayin that article that they are very varied! Most intriguing..
