What's the best ghost story that you've either experienced or had relayed to you? Do you believe you've ever seen a ghost? Have you lived in a house that has paranormal phenomena?
These are my experiences and the experiences that have been relayed to me:
I was once walking past a shop after darkness had fallen. This was a large fronted store with glass windows that boasted panoramic views inside. As I walked past the shop, I heard a knock on the glass, as if someone was trying to get my attention. I looked and no one was there. The shop was completely empty and there was no one that could have been banging on the outside.
A family friend of mine had many stories to tell. One was that when she was a child, she was asleep on the bed and her aunt had just passed over. In the dream, she awoke and saw her aunt on the bed. She talked with her aunt for a good 30 minutes and then she awoke. She could not recall what her aunt had said but wished greatly that she had. I got the feeling that her aunt spoke to her in divine time about her future and her life. She desperately wishes she could remember the words her aunt spoke to her.
Another story relates to my own aunt. As a child, my aunt was always keen to return home for lunch in between her school studies. Being a child of 6 and living in a cramped house, it was the one time that she had the house to herself. Unfortunately, her grandmother, my mother's grandmother and my great grandmother passed away. I don't know how or why she passed away, I never met any of my great grandparents. One day, my aunt came home with ebullience for her lunch break, just as she had done many times. However, when she returned home, she was her recently departed grandmother sat at the kitchen table. She was rather shocked by this. Afterwards, she remained at school for her lunch breaks and didn't like to be in the house alone.
