Ideas for a gift for 40th anniversary of ordination?

Dear all,

I know it’s an odd question, and you could give “anything you would for Christmas, just a bit better” route. But I thought there might be other ideas I could investigate.

I have a 40th celebration to attend in the next couple of months and wondered if anyone has ideas for a nice gift for a priest on this kind of milestone.

He has a decent house set up, comfortable and lots of art etc. I often get vouchers for flights as he doesn’t need anything but does enjoy travel to friends and relatives worldwide. He is Roman Catholic.

A book from the Folio Society that matches his interests? They have beautifully bound and illustrated books.

If he has an iPhone, Air Tags are great for people who travel regularly (you put them in your suitcase and they track luggage) and you can get them with decorative covers… if he has an android, tiles are the equivalent. Better than praying to St Anthony when you have lost your luggage 😂

I think I bought my friend £40 with if Caffè Nero vouchers and flowers for his. But can’t remember!

the idea was to encourage him to spend time relaxing in a coffee shop. Instead of working constantly. He rarely gets his days off.
