I'm doing a children's session for Pentecost and we are going to act out the story of the Holy Spirit coming on the disciples at the first Pentecost.

I want a few phrases that the children can shout in different languages - preferably something that means "Praise God" or something similarly Christian.

Any suggestions?

I have "hallelujah" (hebrew), "Deo Gratias" (latin), and, um, that's about it

Please can you email me your Praise the Lord in different languages for our Open the Book assemblies on the coming of the Holy Spirit on the Day of Pentecost? Thanks.

Alhamdullilah means All Praise Be to Allah (GOD)
Its what Muslims say when something of good fortune comes their way

Buíochas le Dia

That's still a 'saying' in Ireland. People will say it without thinking ''I'm using Irish now''.
