Eid in January

Please excuse my ignorance but I was chatting to dd friends mum yesterday. They have had relatives over from Pakistan and I was asking her if they had gone back and she said they were staying on until eid at end of Jan. I thought eid was in november. I feel so inredibly stupid but i would love to know.

there are two eids, one to mark the end of ramadan and the other marks the the end of hajj period.

fuzzywuzzy is right, and each year the dates go back by 10 days, and there is 2 months and 10 days between the 2 eid dates.
