Bible Study App

I'm newly questioning and exploring my Christian faith and would like to know if anyone has a recommendation of a Bible app.

I was raised as a Christian but rejected the faith as I grew up. My mother admitted that she never actually believed, she just used the church as a social crutch. She can be quite sneery towards those who are religious now.

I've recently started to think that I would like to understand God better, and that I do actually have and need faith, but not sure where to start.

I would like to read and study the Bible to see what God has to say to me, and where to start, but there's a bazillion apps out there and my poor phone is very old! Does anyone have a good one to recommend? Something a bit more in depth than a daily devotion perhaps, but with more guidance than just a basic copy of The Bible.

Thanks 😊

Lectio 365 is a good app for daily readings

I use the Blue Letter Bible app.
Lots of different functions, worth a look.
God bless 🙏🏻

I like the Bible in One Year app by the Gumbels. You get a few passages and then they each reflect on it. It’s a realistic amount go commit to reading each day and if you stick to it, you will have read the Bible after a year.

Logical Bible Study is a daily podcast that gives an exegesis of the Gospel which will read at mass each day. It is an excellent explaination and study of the Gospel.

Oh thanks for those - I like the idea of reading the bible over the year @LauritaEvita, and I do love a podcast so I will check that out too @SilverViking
