Is this appropriate

I have been in and out of Christianity (CofE) for many years. I always wanted to believe but didn’t quite. However this is changing, growing, partly assisted by the fact I have been going to a new church. Is it appropriate to contact the vicar and ask to talk to him about faith in general, ask questions, talk about my experience and try to make sense of it? Or are they too busy?

I've never known a vicar turn down an opportunity like this!. It may be, that after a chat with you, he/she can pair you up with another person or a house group where you can discuss your faith in more detail, and forge supportive faith friendships too.

The vicar will be happy to talk to you!
