Druids - Samhain

An embarrassed call for help from any Druids.

I've completed my 12 month course (online) and have been accepted by a Grove. I've accepted an invite for Samhain but haven't been to any ceremonies before.

What should I expect? I know I should take a photo or momento of a loved one. That's absolutely fine. But, the ceremony invitation says 1145. This sounds utterly stupid, I'm assuming 11.45am but could it be 2345? I really don't want ask more questions because I'll be thrown out before I've even met anyone at this rate!

Please, if you have experience, please can you guide this novice here?!

Just ask them! Each druid tradition is different and each grove different again. Did they use the 24 hour clock in your training scheduling? That might give you a clue.

Our local druid grove is big on dawn ceremonies itself. The one I’m initiated into varies.

Seconding all the points above. It might well be the a.m. but best check. And don't feel you can't ask questions of whoever the member contact is. It's a reasonable question. I have been a member of two groves in the past and one had afternoon ceremonies for the most part and the other had evening ones.
