Disposing of Rune Stones

I have some Rune Stones that I bought a very long time ago in the USA and after never using them and carting them from house to house I want to get rid of them.

I have no idea if there is a correct way to do it or if I can just put them in the bin.

I have had a real run of bad luck and don't wish to make it worse.

Please help.

I live in a rather conservative area and don't tell people that I like doing tarot cards!!

Could I give them to charity?

Anyone????

If you don't know anyone you could pass them on to, you could perhaps bury them? In a way, I consider such things an extension of the person using them, so I treat them with respect.

Either way, if they're consecrated in any way, my personal approach would be to deconsecrate them with a simple ceremony first, to 'free' any connection you may feel with them. In a spiritual and psychological sense, they then become just 'things' rather than holding any intrinsic meaning. :-)

Hope you have better luck in future!
