You are invited to the confirmation of Sonofkimi?

Need to get them done this week, sat at PC waiting to type but at a loss as to what to type.

I would do it from you as you are hosting the party. It is a celebration for your son, not by him.

I would send the invitation from you, his parents.

Hmmm....

Are you having a "do" afterwards? If so, I'd send the invite for the do and make it from you.

The confirmation itself is a Church service, and a public affair, so I'm not sure if an invitation to that is appropriate, though it would be reasonable to put, "Service at 3pm in St X's Church" somewhere on the invitation, so that people could go if they wanted.

How about....

You are invited to the confirmation of
Sonofkimi
on
at
time
and afterwards to......
rsvp. Mr and Mrs kimi

How does that sound???

I need to get them out to get numbers so our lovely junior church lady can allot a set amount of seats (each person gets an amount set aside for their family and friends)

I think that sounds fine - it tells them what they need to know!
