What response to the recent riots would you like to see from your place of worship?

That's it.
A joint statement has been made by the heads of the various faiths where I live.
Maybe something more will happen, actually incorporating their congregations, but they've had plenty of time and nothing that has happened.
I feel very disturbed by what has happened (the riots) and utterly ignored by the leadership of my church.

Not sure what response you expect? Do you expect them to comment on every bit of news? It is a very complex situation and the only thing i would like them to do is pray for wise leaders(well wiser ones than the ones we've had for the last 20 odd years!).

Some of our church leaders have been out on the street, talking with leaders from the mosque and other places of worship, and also with the local community: ready to speak, spread a message of love and unity and also with brushes ready to hand in preparation of any clean-up required. The whole church have been asked to pray - not that anyone would need to be asked.

I would hope they have offered support to Jewish people too - after the Palestine protests they are feeling very vulnerable as noted on here.
