hi makingdo. slight hijack. where did you learn to read tarot cards?

i had a deck in my teens after an old friend read mine a few times and got things scarily right.

but at the time my father dumped my deck because he is a bit freaked by them. so strange. he is very down to earth about everything else.

did you learn them from your granny?

I got mine in a charity shop too makingdo! Also still in the box with the book for beginners. On the same day I got some angel cards in another charity shop.

The tarot cards are OK, but I seem to get on far, far better with the angel cards.

Do you find there's any difference with doing them online to a face to face reading?

I wondered that about online readings, because with the ones I do they're very much a joint effort. I feel I'm there to give guidance not predict future pregnancies or house moves, so their participation is essential.

I started off doing straight clairaudience for readings, and then got the angel cards which I used for myself. But now I'm starting to use them for other people so do a mix of the two. I want to start charging, I'm being pushed in that direction but I just don't know what medium to use - if you'll excuse the pun .

Hey, do you fancy being a guinea pig for me? I could do a reading for you if you like.

Exactly. For me it isn't a fairground sidestall.

Ok, so lets give it a go then .... give me 3 numbers 1 - 44.

Makingdo can I email it to you? It's quite long and I'm not entirely comfortable putting it out live on here, I'm not sure why as I thought I would be - but I always go with my gut instinct these days .
