Study bible

Hi,
Does anyone have a particular study Bible that they love?
I'd like to reconnect with the Bible. Years ago I had a NIV version I liked as well as The Message.. but I'm not sure what I want now. I'm open to all versions really.
I do like the look of a Bible with added notes, maps, explanations etc so was thinking perhaps NLT life application Bible.
I also love the look of the Woman's study Bible, (NIV/KJV,) I like the colour pages and their slightly thicker. (But not sure why I would need a "Woman's Bible," rather than just a Bible, for people!
Another option was the CSB, She reads truth Bible.
Interested to hear any thoughts.
I am also thinking I might like a larger print Bible.. more space to annotate and maybe just more comfortable to read, but not sure if it might be just too big and bulky!
Look forward to hearing any opinions!

I have an ESV study bible and I really like it. It tells me when there is a reference to another part of scripture so I can flick backwards and forwards and explains some of the principles.

It is quite small print though and very big!

I have the NLT life application one you're considering. I have found it very useful and it does give a nice overview. There's also maps, and biographies of important people in scripture. It is a big book.

If I want to know about specific books of the bible in depth, I use a commentary. My preferred ones are the Bible Speaks Today because I find them easier to read, although I sometimes use Tyndale. There are study books aimed at groups, which I find easily available on my Kindle app. Those can be helpful if you want to read into a topic more, eg Women of the Bible.

I also gave a copy of the study bible to my FIL when he was studying for his PHd. He thought we might be trying to convert him 😆Idiot!
A knowledge of Scripture in context was very useful for parts of his dissertation. He found it incredibly helpful and interesting.

I decided to buy the life application NLT study bible. Coral, hardback version.
Decided to commit!- I'm certain I will get something from it.. I was getting overwhelmed with looking at reviews constantly.. pros and cons to all of them. So I'm going to try this one and can expand on my literature then if I want to.
I like that its bot TOO big and bulky. It's also a red letter bible.
Some of the reviews say the paper is super thin so will see how that is. I did also order Mr Pen pens which hopefully won't bleed through.
I'm unnaturally excited to receive this!

I've got this set & the NT set for writing in - you get one book for each book of the Bible and it's one page of scripture, one blank to write in.
https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/143356856X?psc=1&amp%3Bref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&tag=mumsnet&ascsubtag=mnforum-21
As actual study Bibles go I've got this CSB one https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/1462779263/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&amp%3Bpsc=1&tag=mumsnet&ascsubtag=mnforum-21
and this Catholic one (though I'm not Catholic) https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/0190267232/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&amp%3Bpsc=1&tag=mumsnet&ascsubtag=mnforum-21
and this commentary https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/0802428673/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&amp%3Bpsc=1&tag=mumsnet&ascsubtag=mnforum-21
