Spiritual reading

Hi all, I know not everyone believes in this kind of thing but hoping someone could help.

My mum has had a really tough week and had been feeling really down. She decided to visit a spiritualist church in our town. She used to regularly attend this church in the past, for many years but after having children started going less and less. Anyway on her visit this week the medium(i don't know if thats the correct term- sorry if its not) went around the room with messages.
They stopped on her with what seemed to be a message from her dad. He mostly talked about the rough time she is having at the moment but one thing she had said was that he was handing her a pink blanket. Just wondering if this can mean something significant?

I fully appreciate that not everyone believes in or agrees with this type of thing, so just ask, please be kind and if you can not and do have a negative comment please keep scrolling instead.

Thanks xx

Not part of the spiritualist church and have my reservations ( I'm Christian). But a pink blanket just sounds like a comfort object, like her Dad wanted to comfort her. Flowers

It sounds like fake but usually harmless ‘filler’ message. A technique used by some show mediums when they need something to say…

If genuine then it sounds like she was being given a loving comfort gesture. Does she like pink? Is this something that he would have done when alive?

Pink generally is used for self healing, comfort and your inner (spiritual) journey. In this context a blanket would mean comfort.

I would see such a message as her dad giving her permission to heal herself, take comfort in all the gifts (non material and material) he bestowed on her, spend time in self reflection and heal and grow from the pain.

Messages from mediums and through various divination techniques are conversations between spirit and querent. The reader is simply passing in a message. The most important part of the reading is what the querent understands from the message. How did the message make your mum feel once she had had chance to reflect on it.

Thank you all for your comments. That all actually makes sense. She has been having a tough time of late going through a separation so it does make sense that he would want to comfort her. I have trying for a baby for some time now, so we were hoping the blanket was a sign that those dreams may soon come true. But offering comfort make much more sense.

Thank you all xx

@Jimswife01 I suppose it might well be that.🙂 But you don't need to look for signs in order to hope for a baby! Hope anyway.

This is why any divination etc is a two way conversation- what does it mean to the querent? What did it mean to your mum?

It didn't mean anything to her. That why I asked. Thanks xx
