Is anyone on here a quaker?

I've been struggling with religion for a while, and feeling like a lot I'm reading about quakerism resonates with me. It seems a very gentle religion, and a lot less strict than other forms of Christianity. There is no meeting house near me, and there is only so much you can get from google- is there anyone with first hand experience who can give any advice?
Thank you

Several of my cousins are (through long family tradition), and it’s something I have considered myself. As you say, it’s a very gentle religion with a practical day to day focus on helping each other, on being content, on being present.

The downsides I hear from my cousins are that there can be “small town politics” and a feeling of everyone being quite involved in each others business. Although, on typing that out I realise it sounds very much like it could apply to most religious communities.
