Just wondering if any of you would mind saying a quick prayer for my brother?

He's in hospital after having a glass thrown at him, it cut his eye so badly the doctors fear he will be blind in that eye and may even have to remove it

He is very scared and very upset and other than practical stuff i have no idea what else i can do.

I have been falling asleep each night mid prayer for him, if anyone would mind even just keeping him in your thoughts when you pray i and he would be so grateful.
his consultant is going back to see him on monday to find out what steps they need to take, so ive got everything crossed.

Thankyou MAry, cant do the letter as ive had my heart broken many times by him due to his wife nd her demands/orders etc..ill keep a safe distance but make sure im clsoe enough to help if neeedd

Aaa families are funny things. Sounds like you're doing the right thing. If that's the case with his DW, is there a time you can go and see him when it'll be just you and him, maybe?

Its gone pear shaped at minute MAry..i dont know whats happening and am reluctant to express my feeling for the fear of having it thrown back in my face(just updated the other thread) so am in limbo right now.

hes still in lots of pain and they may still have to remove the eye which is obv a huge worry

I lost my eye 10 years ago after having a fork stabbed into it.. i got an infection in hospital... I have lost sight in it and have to wear a false eye but they didnt have to remove my eyeball, so i do have some movement which in turn moves my false eye shell..

I was 21 when it happened ... if you need to ask me anything feel free... i dont want to say to much as you dont know what is happening with you bro yet.. fingers crossed for the best possible outcome for him

Thanks Chocolatespiders, hes having to go abck in today to get more drops and has his appointment for monday to see how ts going.
