ok......getting really freaked out now........

Right....here goes...since we have moved in here, both me and DH have said that for some reason the landing and top of the stairs don't feel quite right for some reason........

Anyway, recently I've been having dreams about a little boy on the landing....his name is Sebastien....and he keeps drawing sad faces on my walls on the landing..........sometimes in blood and they look evil......

I thought nothing of it........til yesterday........dd (whos is 3) came into the kitchen shouting that there was a little boy on the stairs.....course, I immediatly thought that ds2 was crawling up them......so I ran in the lounge.....ds2 was sat in front of the telly.......I asked dd if she meant her brother and she said 'no....that little boy...pointing to the top of the stairs.........' I couldn't see anything, but she was adament there was a little boy there.........

This has kinda freaked me out..........the house is pretty new.....conincidence or someting else?

also, the TV turns itself on.....when its off completely and the remote control is on the window sill.

And the front door opened the other night as well......dd said that someone had come in........

Have you had any clairvoyant/psychic feelings b4? What is the house built on?

When my dad died.......I didn't know he had died.......i was in the garden and felt like someone was watching me......found out a week later daddy had died then,........

in MIL house.......I can't bear to stand at the bottom of the stairs for some reason....dh is the same

I have not idea what this house is built on......its fairly new

Titania, are you freaked out and scared (your dreams sound horrid) or are you simply freaked out because you don't know what is (if anything) going on?

I would try to find out about the site that the house is built on and perhaps look into getting the house exorcised if it is an evil presence.
I have had lots of experience of 'ghosts' but am still not entirely convinced it isn't in my head (even when the children/others have shared/had similar experiences). Some people are simply more open/tuned in to it (children especially).

Hope you can resolve this as it sound more than unsettling at the moment.

Oh Titania, sounds really scary hon. I hope you'll forgive me - I'm impossibly closed to presences and ghosts and the like, because I'm a big chicken and unspiritual to boot - but I'm wondering whether you may be more open to these experiences atm because things have been so tough for you lately?

I've tried talking to him in my dreams,,,,,its like he can't answer though......he tries to talk but nothing comes out....

I know you've only just moved but have you met any of the neighbours? They may well know about the house and people who have lived there before

only my opinion, but i think phenomena like this are related to a kind of projection of your own state of mind, and are open to interpretation much as dreams are. Children are very sensitive and can pick up on things like this in a "psychic" way I think. Of course I don't know the answers, but that's my theory.

I'd give the local church a ring. Can't do any harm and they might be more help than you think.

they wont tell her. They might not even be able to do anything - or they might have someone they can put you in contact with, but worth finding out for your own peace of mind

i dont know what to do......if its something trapped i want to help. I have just been upstairs and for the first time the landing is FREEZING.......yet the heating is on full blast........

look in your yellow pages and give a local church a ring, or the nearest spiritualist church

do it now if it's freaking you out
