Well the teapot thing is no madder than any of the other religious stuff. There was no suggestion that she was sacrificing children in it or anything so I'd have let her be.

But religions can't just let it be can they. Any religion must (and does) have the eventual aim of removing all opposition - by force if necessary. Most holy books say "kill the unbeliever" somewhere in them.

I have to admit to shuddering every time I hear 'sharia court'. 'Everyone knows' that sharia courts are just a bunch of neighbours getting together to sort out a dispute. I bet she's less convinced of that.

"She informed the court that she is not a Muslim. She doesn't come under Sharia court anymore."
