Greek mythology

Hi everyone . This is going to come across as strange if it isn't a thing but does anyone know or believe through religion that if someone has green eyes it's no good ?

I have been on and off with this man . 33 he's very religious and is a Greek Orthodox. Originally from Romania but moved to my country. I'm 35 not religious.

We have seen each other on and off for over a year and we were having a deep conversation a few days ago and I did notice he was staring right in my eyes but just thought he might be just focusing on the conversation. He then blurts out you have green eyes. The way he said it was as if he was shocked. He pretty quickly wrapped up our conversation and left and has been really cold with me since .

Then yesterday I was looking at Greek mythology online and what I was reading is that it's pretty much a bad omen .

Does anyone have any light then can shed on this please because right now I sound crackers . Thankyou

I think it is a bad omen because he sounds like a bit of a prat.

Thank goodness the universe offers these little signs every now and then to show us who to keep away from.

Is he into whacky conspiracy theories? He might think you're a one of those reptilian types or gene edited by aliens.

I think it’s related to the evil eye. Green and blue eyes are thought to cast the curse in many med countries

Greek Orthodox and Greek mythology are very different things. I'd only date him if he was committed to the latter.
