Creating New Spiritual Family Traditions

Hi there I always felt a deep connection with the earth and nature. I now have a happy healthy little family and wanted to nurture positive spiritual practices. I decided to start creating our own personal traditions to celebrate the changing seasons.

The spring equinox is coming up soon and we are planning to have the kids paint some garden rocks with environmentally friendly paint and then we are going to sneak into the woods and create a fairy circle. The downside to the paint being environmentally friendly is that it will wash away in the rain.

I have decided that I am okay with this and that makes it all the more interesting.

If the weather permits then we are then going to clean the forest paths and the local community with litter pickers and recycle the garbage. As we live in Canada and one of the things I always hated about the melting snow is so the mass amounts of garbage that is revealed underneath it once it is gone.

After the last freeze we want to come back and sprinkle mixed flower seeds into the circle just to see what happens.

Is anyone else trying out ideas for new spiritual family traditions?

I wouldn't be making fairy circles, I wouldn't fuck with the fae, they are capricious untrustworthy bastards. Everything else sounds lovely though
