The moth and the crow spiritual significance

Hi Guys, this is my first post but longtime lurker. Recently I have had two strange experiences. I’m hoping someone more spiritual may be able to explain the significance to me?
The first incident was with a crow and the second with a moth, all within a week of each other.
The crow landed a couple of feet away from me and stared at me for a few seconds before coming towards me but then flew away. I think it was because there was someone else present at the time.
Today a moth landed on a chair beside me and waited for a while. He then allowed me to pick him up and put him somewhere safely.
I feel this was a message of some kind but just not sure what.

Do you feel it is a message?
Moths and crows are a daily ocurrence where I live, so not out of the ordinary.

Yes, I do. The moth was in a place where there were lots of lights but chose to to sit on the chair next to me away from the lightbulbs. The crow was in a place where I haven’t really noticed them before. However it was the encounter that seemed significant. The way they both seemed to pick me out- if that makes sense?

These sorts of things are usually best mediated on. However, as a general guide crows are often symbols of death - but like the death card of the tarot it is a symbolic death, transformation from one state into another

moths are often symbolic of inner work, moving out of the darkness into the light.

Are you a spiritual person?

Im not a spiritual person as such however these interactions felt like something more like a message rather than just coincidence. I have been wondering if maybe a sign form a departed loved one (despite no one having died in recent years) especially with it being near Halloween and the “thinning of the veil”. This is just a theory though. Perhaps I should try to meditate or look within myself.

Always go with your gut instinct with these things. There’s two ways of looking at this either you know something internally or subconsciously and are seeing things as signs that bring theses thoughts/feelings to the fore -ie this is entirely internal. More akin to what is called a psychological model, or a more supernatural model
where these are signs from external forces. It doesn’t really matter, either way you will have the answer within.

Sit comfortably, preferably with your feet on the floor and think about the crow and the moth. Just examine them in your mind, all the different things you can think about them and see what comes up, do this every day for a week. Does anything resonate with you?
