Can someone help me in interpreting a dream???

I had a dream last night and am trying to remember all of it and also to piece together the key elements to make some sense of it.

I know some of you have a bit of experience so maybe you can help.

My vbf's were in the dream but some argument happened and I ended up in a prison. It wasn't a typical prison with bars or anything but I couldn't get out. I could see my friends out on the street having a lot of fun and spotted one of my friends dancing with an ex of mine. (Background in RL is he is an ex from many years ago and he still one of my very good friends. She is also a very good friend and they had a bit of a fling recently and admittedly I was a tad jealous).

Anyway I somehow managed to find a way out and just wanted to see what everyone was up to and then go back. We were then in this church in the singing gallery. My married friends and the friends mentioned above all looked cosy and were having a laugh. They didn't see me nor did I want them to.

Then there was this earthquake. No-one had an idea what was going on. I got out with my girlfriends and the guy friends seemed to have gone in a different direction. The last part I remember was us running through narrow streets (not familiar to me). The ground had opened in some spots and we were being careful to avoid the openings.

That is all I can remember.

Anyone able to help on it.

TIA

Do you often dream about being trapped or stuck? Do you feel stuck in some way in your life at the moment?

It sounds as though you feel discontent with a situation but have a sense that it might just be 'grass is greener', in that you want to get out of the prison but then go back. Maybe you're scared of initiating change yourself and want some outer influence to change things for you - the earthquake.

Write your dreams down like this for a few weeks and see if a pattern emerges - it's fairly hard to make sense of just one dream.

Hi, whatsinadream.

If you would like, I could interpret your dream but I need you to know where I'm coming from. I am a practising Christian and dream interpretation is a gift that God has given me. I am not a 'clairvoyant type' dream interpretter. If you are interested in what God is saying to you through this dream, then let me know.
