Ganesh turned up in my dream - I'm not religious

I had an epic dream recently where Ganesh appeared and took up the whole sky and ground in front of me, the colours were amazing. I was completely blown away and couldn't think of anything to say, Ganesh smiled/chuckled and left, i woke up feeling like i had wasted his time . Then yesterday I went into a very twee tea shop in germany and for no reason the guy running the place got some photos of his recent cake creation of ganesh to show me. Strange!

I'm not religious in any way and I didn't grow up being familiar with anything other than Christianity, i dont have an active interest in india or elephants, so I am really confused why the vivid dream happened. The cake thing is probably just a weird coincidence and if I spoke German would have made more sense but it did seem strange too.

Not sure why I'm sharing other than I feel compelled to tell someone.

Dreams very rarely have any meaning. I have extremely vivid and unexplained dreams often. It can be down to something as simple as what you have eaten or drank the day before.

Sorry. I don't mean to be flippant. It's just that I often have very vivid dreams that are entirely meaningless. Usually after eating spicy food for some reason😂

A friend woke up one night to a vision of Ganesh which faded after what seemed like a few minutes. She was living in the far east at the time , though not in India. Her marriage was in trouble and the dream / vision gave her great comfort - although she was technically C of E but basically agnostic. I suppose he is a very benign and friendly looking deity ?

Take "psychedelic" drugs and you see this stuff. The question is why?! No one has the answer. We won't know until we die. Interesting though that it's programmed into us, regardless of religious beliefs or lack thereof.

There’s a school of thought that we have access to a world of symbols which take us beyond words and help us understand everything. These can come up in dreams or meditation Look into what Ganesh symbolises and spend time considering the symbol and it’s meaning and see if anything resonates
