Daniel in the Lions Den

So, I'm doing the story at mums and tots this week. Has anyone got any good ideas to help me to make it interesting. Have the difficulty that alot of the parents use this time to chat rather than supervise their children and take part, which then means the children aren't listening really either. It is an issue which we are trying to address, but it will take time (as I am quite new to helping run the group) - not trying to tread on too many toes in one go iyswim

Thanks for the reply. Have found a cuddly lion or two in dc's rooms so they may make an appearance too. I usually have quite a few ideas, but can't think of much this time. Think it may be a very quick story this week (which perhaps everyone will appreciate)

how old are the kids?

what aspect are you focussing on? (ie the lions not eating Daniel and his friends due to their faith/the miracle or something else?) Just wondering how child-friendly the story is - aren't the ideas/lessons rather complex for tots?

Sorry if that sounds negative - it isn't meant to be. I am just wondering how you could do it, that's all.
