Please may I ask for your prayers

My dad is due to have surgery on Wednesday to radically treat oral cancer. It will be a lengthy surgery (10+ hours) and I can but hope and pray it will be successful in the aim of removing it entirely. I adore my parents and I have a very young daughter (months old) who I want to know and love him for a long time to come (as well as also needing my dad myself selfishly!). Please could I ask if you could pray for my father in amongst your own prayers in the hope that they are answered. Thank you.

Sorry I haven't been back for a while. He had 2 cardiac arrests during the surgery so had to abandon the main surgery to perform CPR and fit a pace maker. Amazingly he's been home and whilst he's in a lot of pain he's with us! There's obviously been a lot of caring to do and hospital visits before he was allowed home. Hopefully going to hear this week when they propose to do the cancer surgery. Thank you all for your prayers and well wishes...going to need some more it seems!
