Hiya, does anyone fancy a meditation thread?

I've been doing headspace off and on since 2017 but after going through a tough time I've been doing it more regularly. I've finally managed to focus of my breath and the way my body and breath sort of go apart and then come together again. I've noticed how much calmer I've been since doing it morning and night. I have started feeling more connected to myself and my emotions.

Anyone else?

I think I'm going to try yoga again. I couldn't do it before, I just got bored but now I can meditate I think yoga will help me.

Yes, I love meditation. I use headspace every morning & evening.
I feel like it completely settles me down, calms me, and helps me to keep my temper and snappiness at bay when it’s my TOTM.

I keep on wanting to try yoga too, but I’m inflexible and overweight so not sure.

@Bookaholic73 yey headspace team! I agree with being calmer. I think I'm becoming more mindful to my feelings and have stopped taking others projections so personally.

Just try the yoga in your living room and then if it doesn't work no one else will see. I put Adrianne on yesterday and I did get slightly bored but the 26 minutes passed quickly. I didnt get an enlightenment feeling though.

Yes I think I’ll try at home yoga a few times a week, thanks for motivating me to try it.

Meditation definitely helps with yoga I think, gives me more patience in general.

Hi I love meditation. I use calm app and also do yoga with Adrienne. I found the lower my mood the harder it is to motivate myself yet that's when I need it more. I try to meditate every morning and afternoon and do one yoga video a day but I don't always manage it.

What's the worst that can happen @Bookaholic73 you don't enjoy it and don't do it again Flowers

@autienotnaughty I have the kalm app on my phone and gave it a go but I only like Andys voice in headspace so couldn't get to grips with the different teachers on kalm.

How do you choose which meditation to follow on Headspace? I got totally overwhelmed with trying to make a decision and gave up. But whenI meditate I feel so much better!
