I have on pupose not put my kids in so called c of e schools but still they come home spouting christian stiff. I would not mind this if the school went half way to understand our beliefs I have been in to school to defend what they see as a joke faith many times. One thing that pissed me off was when all kids could write about their home faith, my ds was told he would have to choose something else. When I went to complain the said they had no books (i offered to lend some what pagan does not have a heaving book case) but still the ansewer was no.

Yes, complain in writing. Pagan beliefs are sincerely held by a substantial number of people and are no less valid than any other religion - it's not as if you are claiming you are all Jedi or followers of the Giant Flying Spaghetti Monster (which is admittedly what I might do if any of DS educators piss me off by trying to force feed him superstition, but that's another story). They are discriminating unreasonably against your children's home religion, and that's verging on illegal.
Best of luck in kicking their god-bothering bottoms
