Anyone know what this is?

It was written (not in ink or anything) on my TV, just noticed it when decorating the tree. DD swears it wasn't her (I believe her as she normally laughs when she is lying) DH said he hasn't done it, no one else in the house or visited. It's freaked me out a bit. Any ideas? I'm truly stumped 🤔

It looks like the word GODLESS.
How old is the TV? Could have been on display in the shop and someone traced the word onto it with their finger randomly?

Either your daughter or husband did it... if nobody else has been in your house then it could only have been one of them...

Well someone obviously wrote it: either your husband or daughter or a visiting family member maybe? Why are you freaked out? What do you think may have caused it?

Sorry I missed the bit about no visitors! I don’t personally believe in ghosts but understand if you do then that would be scary. How much do you really trust your DH and daughter on this? Sounds like one of them thinks it is a funny joke. Maybe if you sit down and have a serious chat with them one of them will come clean? Explain that you are actually scared and don’t find it funny. If they genuinely care they won’t want you scared and upset so hopefully the truth will out

How old is the tv?

Is being"godless" a problem?

My litchen clock isn't working and needs replaced, everyone is confused, so in the meantime I have drawn on an extra 7 hands wirth a sharpie on the face.
My family do things like thiis all the time.
Maybe someoe didn't like a movie on netflix and had a small anarchic moment?
Just give it a wipe.

Or you could call in a priest and give the tv an exorcism.

Clearly one of them! Likely DD wouldn’t admit to it now if she’s already denied doing it. I’d just let it go as something daft.

No, it was not a ghost, it was clearly a slightly greasy human finger. It sounds like your DD/DH know that they can get away with pulling your leg.

Clean your TV, get some Pledge sprayed and don't give it another thought.

It's clearly been written by a human finger and if there are only three humans in the house and all are denying it, then one of them is lying.

Ghosts and ghouls aren't renowned for using their greasy ghostly fingers to write on TV screens.

Are either of them left-handed? The letter O is distinctive and looks to me as though it could have been written by a left handed person. (anticlockwise)

Right-handers, please chip in if you disagree.

OP get both of them to write something in capital letters that contains the letter O and see if it matches that one.

I thought it said "COOLEST" .

But either way, it was either there when you bought the TV and the atmospheric conditions combined with lack of dusting are just right at the moment for it to show up, or it was DH or DD, or one of them has had someone in the house without you knowing - how old is DD?

This was done by a human hand or better said, finger. Don’t worry. You can easily find out if it was a prank: leave a similar message in a mirror or windows and pretend to be scared. Somebody will confess eventually when they are terrified.
