Pantheism

I was raised as a strict Christian. I now don't believe in an almighty god. I am a scientist and I do believe in energy and nature. I am struggling to define myself in terms of religion/philosophy and pantheism seems the best fit for me but there are so many types. Is anyone able to shed some light on where I fit?

You may find some ideas of Animism interesting, and read about the thoughts of Spinoza.

I also thought of Spinoza seeing your question. This book Spinoza's Religion: A New Reading of the Ethics www.amazon.co.uk/dp/0691176590/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_VG33DDWASXKTQW0WFGYJ?tag=mumsnetforu03-21 has had some great reviews- I haven’t read it yet (don’t think it’s out for a few days) but am hoping to.

This is a review I read www.prospectmagazine.co.uk/philosophy/spinozas-religion-clare-carlisle-god-einstein-philosophy-religion-review
